The front end is really questionable, pretty beat up, it seems there is supposed to be some sort of telescoping/spring suspension going on but only one side slides further in, the other is pretty well stopped (possible due to a repair weld) so the wheel becomes crooked.īasically, I am just coming to terms with a really long project and I wanted to complain a bit. The jackshaft is out, one end looks like it was gnawed on, the bearings and miscellaneous gears and bent vice-grip-rounded bolts are in a grease-blackened sandwich baggie. No seat, an unusable rear wheel (the strange cylindrical four-bolt hub thing is cracked, gutted and quite worn looking (no bearings or axle present). The result is the what you see in the photo.
